Yesterday 11th December,2022 the Kenya High-commission staff led by the Deputy Head of Mission Amb. Jacquiline Kenani undertook a visit to Tshireleto Orphanage and Homebasecare Center in Soshanguve, Pretoria North to mark Jamhuri Day celebrations . The Team donated food stuff, toiletries among other items to the Orphanage.

Hon. Moses Kuria, Cabinet Secretary for Trade, Investments and Industry called on the High Commissioner Catherine Muigai Mwangi and members of staff at the Chancery today 31st October,2022. The CS, who is in the Republic of South Africa for official visit, held a meeting with importers and business stakeholders at the Mission.

Saturday 22nd October , 2022, The Mission participated in the Annual Diplomatic Fun Fair hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa.The event accorded the Mission an opportunity to showcase Kenyan products, cuisine and culture. During the event, the Mission was feted as the Mission with the most Flavourful Exhibition.

The mission will be closed on the 20thThursday, October 2022 as gazetted Mashujaa day in the Republic of Kenya.

The Kenya High Commission, Pretoria will resume normal services on Friday, 21st  October 2022.

Today 13th October 2022, High Commissioner Catherine Muigai Mwangi hosted H.E Romana Konigsbrun , Austrian Ambassador-designate to South Africa when the latter called on her at Taifa House in Pretoria. The two exchanged views on issues of mutual interest between Kenya and Austria.

High Commissioner, Catherine Muigai Mwangi held fruitful discussions today with Mr. Samaburu Wa-shiko, Senior Advisor, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who paid a courtesy call on her at the Mission. Mr. Wa-shiko briefed the High Commissioner on various areas of strategic partnership between Kenya and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation particularly those that are aligned to the Big 4 Agenda
